Founded in 1950 by Thomas McGovern AKA ‘The Sheriff’, McGovern Metals has gone from strength to strength and is widely regarded as Dublin’s most trusted recycling firm.
McGovern Metals has been synonymous with metal recycling in Ireland for over 70 years. After the passing of Thomas McGovern in 1969, the company was taken over by his children Kenneth, Sandra, Trevor, and Gary.
Recently the business has been acquired by Kenneth’s son Robert McGovern.
