Brass Recycling

Why is brass recycled?

Environmental Advantages:

The recycling process for brass is less energy-intensive as compared to aluminium and steel and yields a smaller carbon footprint.

Brass is extremely reusable from recycled materials and its tribute to an industry that iit is so environmentally conscious regarding its use of natural resources.

Brass is an alloy composed of copper and zinc, recognised for its hardness, appearance, and resistance to the elements.

Brass is a very workable metal with a low melting point and has superb heat and electrical conductivity.

Brass is nearly always used in bathroom fixtures because of its bacteriostatic properties.

Brass is non-magnetic and possesses superior acoustic properties, so became a material of choice for musical instruments, measuring tools, locks, bathroom fixtures and watches.

Found in: central heating and plumbing, radiators, hinges and doorknobs, bathroom fixtures, cookware, decorative railings, fittings, musical instruments.
